Holidays with your dog in the mountains
Dog-friendly holidays in Tyrol
You and your four-legged companion are very welcome at Almhof Danler in Neustift in the Stubai Valley. We are not a classic dog hotel, but a dog-friendly establishment where both humans and animals can feel equally at home. Our advantage: nature begins right on our doorstep. Surrounded by the imposing Stubai Alps and nestled in 60,000 m² of our own meadows and gardens, you will find countless opportunities to embark on an adventure right away.
Hiking and dog walking right from the hotel door
Whether it's a short morning walk, a leisurely valley tour or a scenic high-altitude hike – the Stubai Valley offers an abundance of dog-friendly trails. Many alpine pastures and huts expressly welcome dogs.
Dogs also travel free of charge on public transport and mountain railways in the Stubai Valley (leash and muzzle required). This allows you to quickly reach high alpine terrain with fresh mountain air, magnificent views and plenty of space for exercise.
For a relaxing holiday with your dog
To ensure that all guests feel comfortable, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and wellness area. However, there is plenty of space for them to rest in your room. Please bring your own dog bed or cushion and food. We charge €15–25 per day for your dog (excluding food).
Please observe the notices and signs regarding the leash requirement throughout the Stubai Valley and be considerate of other hikers and guests. This will ensure that everyone can enjoy a harmonious stay.
Paradise for two legs and four paws
In addition to varied hiking trails and swimming opportunities in clear mountain streams, the region even has designated dog parks. The Stubai Valley's weekly programme offers regular tours and activities where four-legged friends are also welcome.
