Winter holidays in the Stubai Valley
Winter magic in Tyrol
When the winter sun takes over in the ‘Kingdom of Snow’, skiers, snowboarders and carvers glide downhill on fantastic powder snow and sun worshippers enjoy the impressive mountain panorama from the terraces, it is high season in the Stubai ski areas for gourmet skiers, sporty connoisseurs and snowshoe hikers.
More than 100 kilometres of downhill runs and state-of-the-art cable car facilities ensure fantastic winter sports fun on the wide, glittering sunny slopes of the Stubai ski areas.
The best starting point for all these winter activities is the Almhof holiday world in Milders near Neustift.

Toboggan run right outside the front door
After a hike through snow-covered forests or a gondola ride up the mountain, winter sports enthusiasts look forward to a brisk toboggan ride.
There are eight toboggan runs in the Stubai Valley that have been awarded the Tyrolean Natural Toboggan Run Seal of Quality.
With a total length of 43 kilometres of uninterrupted tobogganing fun, the Stubai Valley is the largest tobogganing arena in Tyrol. One of the longest runs in Tyrol is also located in the Stubai Valley: the toboggan run from the Elfer mountain leads over six kilometres directly to the village centre of Neustift – just a stone's throw away from the Almhof Urlaubswelt!
Close to nature
Feeling the fresh snow underfoot with every step, passing snow-covered trees, breathing in the cold winter air, accompanied by the glitter of thousands of ice crystals – winter and snowshoe hiking in the Stubai Valley is truly idyllic.
Far away from the stress of everyday life, you can discover the unspoilt nature of the Stubai Valley while hiking through the snow-covered forests.
Active holidaymakers can let their minds wander and find peace and quiet on more than 80 km of cleared winter hiking trails. Many hiking trails start right outside the doors of the Almhof Urlaubswelt.
