A virtually unlimited network of hiking trails crisscrosses through the Stubai Valley and the Stubai Alps. Many of the hiking trails begin right here at the Almhof. Whether you decide to go for a stroll in the village of roses or hike to a nature setting – the Stubai Valley is a true hiking Eldorado that offers easy tours at an intermediate altitude, as well as special, themed trails and more demanding routes to the Seven Summit peaks. This is where hiker’s and mountain climber’s hearts will beat faster! Those who prefer something more comfortable can simply use one of the mountain cable cars, for ascent and descent, free use of which is included in the Stubai Super Card.

In the Stubai Valley, the biking arena is right in the heart of Tyrol; there are numerous trails and routes, on which you can explore the region on two wheels. That’s why everyone – from extreme cyclists to comfy e-bike riders – gets their money’s worth in equal measure. The extensive route network in the Stubai Valley, extending across a length of 720 km and with a difference in altitude of approximately 13,000 m, presents ample scope for burning off energy and is designed in accordance with the Tyrol mountain bike model. All itineraries are sufficiently marked and interactive maps as well as QR codes on the signs make navigation through unfamiliar areas a lot easier.

At the Almhof holiday world, our young guests can also let off steam to their hearts content and make new friends in the spacious play area, the garden, the playhouse (with table tennis, darts and table football) and in the playroom. Young and old will experience an especially diverse and rich family time during a Stubai mountain summer in the BIG Family Summer Club. There are some exceptional attractions here: from a spectacular network of caves, in ice, to fabulous myths and fables to thrilling adventure hikes and journeys of discovery through the Stubai mountain world. A dip in the pool and a few lengths in refreshing water are a welcome balance during an activity holiday in the Stubai Valley, at any time of the year. Young and old alike love splashing about in the water, so, in the Stubai Valley, you will find a great selection of the most varied bathing opportunities for the whole family: from natural lake swimming to the open-air pool or the indoor pool. A special highlight for unlimited bathing fun in the Stubai Valley is the STUBAY sport and leisure pool.

For many, the beautiful hike along the Oberbergbach (stream), to our Alpine hut is already an adventure. On arrival at your destination, however, the charm and beauty of the unique Oberiss Alm manage to make this experience even better. This destination of extra class awaits young and old with delicious, traditional, Tyrolean fare, a small “Almladele” shop with a selection of the best Alpine products and a special animal attraction that can already be heard from afar whistling.
